You forgot these aging players for Mexico too *age next summer: Hector Moreno 33, Hugo Ayala 34, Marco Fabian 32, Gio dos santos 32, Oribe Peralta 37, which makes your point stronger.
Do not sleep on Honduras. Save for a handful of plsyers, the have renewed their team. I see Mexico above all, then it will be s tough fight between the USA, Costa Rica and Honduras for the other two spots. Jamaica and Canada to play spoilers.

You identified the number one problem with the US in the last qualifying rounds, and the main problem Mexico and Costa Rica will face. Father time is undefeated. Mexico can plug and play, but they will struggle. Costa Rica can't do that. The problem with 'Rona, is that our young Americans have lost another year of not playing Greggy ball, and it will again take 2 games for players to gain familiarity

Mexico will have players in Europe in the future Mexico has good players they showed it in the Olympics unlike USA with home grown players. even if the others age out still will give USA run for the money Mexico has always done it beat good teams they will even up Mexico has a lot of talent we just gotta wait and see.
