The commentating was biased and inaccurate as the late rounds showed.
Great fight. How Alexis Arguello managed to stay on his feet until the ref stepped in was almost superhuman. Pryor looking so fresh at the end, also superhuman. Boxing used to be on Wide World of Sports on weekends, then HBO for years. It was extremely popular with me and the general public in those days.
I know PPV brings in the cash now, but as a young person, I thought having it on more available platforms was better for the popularity of the sport.

My wife and I travel a lot and she always makes sure to have a big bottle of water mixed with powdered electrolytes. Last year in Paris, we were about to leave the hotel for lunch and she goes “Honey, can you grab my bottle there on the table“ so I go to grab a bottle and she goes “no the other one” and I go without hesitation in my best Panama Lewis accent “the one you mixed?”, I said “?“. I cracked up, but she had no clue what I was talking about. 😂

Alexis Arguelli had excellent cardio and he paced himself exceptionally well. This was scheduled a 15 rd bout. Alexis came out throwing in rd 13

Pryor is a cheater forever, everyone that watches this look up the "black bottle" scandal for this fight. Panama Lewis, Aron Pryor's trainer was suspended from boxing and went to jail for cheating. Fuck Pryor and Lewis
