      PINK BOOK!! Alright, it maybe is a bit early but my theory stands, clubs are probably identifying targets now….not just during transfer windows but anyway, I wanted a distraction from the league form and being grumpy so HERE WE GO!!

      Wonder if Rob Newman is concentrating on summer free transfers, with amount of departures due end of season. Can see a job lot of free transfers coming in.

      Rice won't leave the UK, his family is far too important to him and he wants to be close to them……I think Chelsea would be his first choice if he can get over the trauma of them letting him go as a youngster, it still rankles him.
      This summers window will be huge….. we need at least 3 quality signings (forget Huddersfield!!), i don't think we'll have the money for any more than that and 2 or 3 loans.

      Not that I believe the rumour, but would the point of Raphinha not be as quality competition to Bowen rather than playing one of them out of position? That seems to be the approach Moyes keeps hinting at whenever transfers come up in interviews.

      Realistic free transfers – Johnstone, Tarkowski, Sidibe, Stark, Kamara, Kessie, Carvahlo, Lingard, Nketiah…. Then add a couple of loans and a couple of youth…. job done !

      Tielemans is possibly a madder story than Phillips. There is NO WAY he’s moving to West Ham (especially when we finish 7th or 8th.

      As the six feet high letters on the side of our pitch proclaim, we are “The Academy of Football”. So, I’m looking forward to Moyes blooding some of our youthful talent to freshen up the team in lieu of his failed transfer policy.

      I've just roughly calculated we've got around 6 months before transfer targets are put forward and unrealistic low-ball offers begin to be submitted by the club…the only question is who's going to be held culpable this time.

      OK everyone saying Man U are in for D Rice will this is Man U hype trying to please there fans . if you look at what Man U need and that real rebuild in the summer and could need up to 6 + players so there not spending £80 M Plus on one player also theirs a lot of top class players going on free transfer in the summer so why spend £80 + M no one player
      and Man U are losing
      Pogba
      Lingard
      DVB
      Carvani
      Greenwood could head to Jail
      CR7 could go
      Maguire could be sold

      so there going to need volume over superstar

      I hope Moyes has his 3-4 key signings lined up…but as a 25 year fan, my gut tells me we’ll have a squad of U-23’s and cast-offs. I hope history doesn’t repeat itself…

      I think Moyes is slowly going thru the list of out of contract players . Tarkowski and Lingard being top maybe Sam Johnstone at westbrom all arriving in the summer . Congrats getting the OneFootball sponsor extended .

      With United’s attitude regarding Lingard I would make it as difficult as humanly possible for them to do any business period.

      Why would we do business with direct competition by their logic? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

      Geo, when we finish about 8th and we go for players like tieleman it will be laughed off. We won't attract decent players in the summer. They will be mediocre. I mean Moyes is determined to have Lingard. Again I say he is not good enough for man utd. With rice and Bowen gone we may have money but the right time was January. In the summer we will be struggling to get anyone decent once again.

      Tielemans is a great player with sudden major drops in level. Was at fault for the first goal conceded by Belgium against Italy in the euro, was at fault conceding stupid penalty against France (which ultimately opening road to comeback and victory of France) in the nations cup. What would he cost? I wrote three years ago I would have loved a trio Dendoncker-Rice-Tielemans. Not so sure now.

      i think we getting to the point of retracting my decision of having enough of watching this team anymore….we going to lose a lot of players this summer most importantly the heart n teeth…we had to rebuild anyway, not recruiting last summer after making the mistake of not doing so after missing out on champs league n then not to get some back up in jan says to me you cnt make that mistake 3 times….now we will lose players n spirit that has got us here in first place so…mid table n hovering above relegation will be back n for me back in a big way when considering the mistakes n lessons not learnt….hate to say it but I'm done with the lack of ambition n secret politics i get from our owners…

      Sell Bowen and Rice for £180 and add the £40 mill we haven’t used. Then buy left and right back, centre half, 2 x midfielders, winger and 2 strikers. That should do it !

      If Rice wants to win the league, why would he go to Man U? Perhaps Chelsea, but not Man U. Remember MU said We were their rivals.

      Tielemens!.Hilarious.when have you ever seen a good player in a smaller club move sideways to a club around the same level.They always go up to the next level teams or what's the point in moving.

      I would like to see some sanity to the contract negotiations. The whole squad seems to be in a permanent state of contract negotiations. It must be very unsettling. Think if it was any of us?

      New signings from Leicester are unlikely. A few years ago Karen Brady pissed their owners off over Slimani. I am not entirely convinced with Tielemans anyway. He plays in a midfield for a team that let a bucket load of goals in. Our midfield has been no better this season with 2+ goals being conceded in almost half our games. The last thing we need is another midfielder who offers zero protection like both Rice and Soucek have offered us.

      Rice is Westham through and through, and like the greats of old he will be a legend if he stays. But the club have done him no favours the way they have handled the transfer window. To me it was an absolute kick in the teeth for him and the likes of Bowen, in keeping these players. It’s not all about the money , top quality players want silverware , as fruits of their career achievements, and the way Westham have slumped these last few months, failing to bring in new players in the window is looking more and more a disasterous decision. If Westham finish 7th or 8th and get knocked out in the next round of the Europa Cup, which looks highly likely, the way they are playing, it will prove to be a very disappointing season, and the board and manager have only themselves to blame. Unless Rice and Bowen have been given assurances that the summer window will be special , the club having real intent of maintaining top4 , then they will be looking to pastures new
