I thought this was going to be about African American local player being discovered and developed by an MLS team, but this player is only playing soccer because his dad is British. The US men's team will never being competitive if they don't make soccer inclusive to working class American, especially Black Americans, by getting rid of the pay to play system. You can't rely of immigrant parents to produce the best athletes in US soccer. At some point you are going to have to make soccer free like the rest of the world to get the best kids playing soccer.
