I heard 11 yanks suggest Gregg should play Malik Tillman in central midfield. Tillman is pretty much the reason Rangers are in Champions league now but as a forward. You think him and Musa could play together?
Musah is quality and I def rate him. Only thing is if it’s between him and Brendan, I gotta go w the latter. He’s more dangerous offensively and his energy is second to none.
Musah is one of the best at holding onto the ball – once he gets the ball, he almost never coughs it up in a 1v1 or even two defenders trying to take it off him. Biggest weakness (same as Tyler Adams) is his progressive passing ability. Adams is better in terms of his overall aggressiveness as a destroyer, Musah better at dribbling the ball up.
Stoked to see Musah playing in the middle of the field- for Gatuso. Would love to see him develop some time as a 6 as I think he and McKennie/LDLT double pivot is our best option should Adams not be fit. Our midfield is getting to be pretty stacked. Adams, Musah, McKennie, Aaronson, Reyna, LDLT. Finally have very solid bench and 3 or 4 at a pretty equal level, but unique qualities that could dictate a start or bumping Weah off the RW depending on tactics/formation (4-3-3 / 4-2-3-1) the opponent. That's how I see it anyhow…. maybe not GB.

I would actually prefer seeing a Tyler Adams + Yunus Musah Center midfield. Having Tyler do the dirty work for the USMNT

Yunus Musah needs to havea breakout season so he can be a starter for the USMNT. at the moment he's only a bench player for us
