You’re 100% true. Records are meant to be broken. But the key is do you think one player will be able to break all those records? A single player? So let’s say every one of those records get broken each by a different player. Would you consider being 2nd in every one of those categories, than having 1 or say 5 categories being 1st and other categories not mentioned? So I feel even if all his records are broken, since he has so many of, as long as it’s not by one player, he’d still totally be the best basketball player
Another great vid. Thanks.
Jordan is the greatest player I ever saw. I have been watching since the 70's.
The amazing thing about Jordan in the playoffs/finals is that everyone on the planet knew he was getting the ball, and there wasnt anything anyone can do to stop him. There was no game plan for stopping him…..or one that worked anyway.
I will also argue that Larry Bird is the 2nd best player I ever saw.
Having seen the league evolve into the no defense, give the player all the space he needs type league I can only imagine what Bird, Jordan, and Magic (to name a few) would have done to todays NBA. No hand checking??? WTF??
Drive the lane against the Pistons or the early 90's Knicks and talk to me about hand checking…..or left hooks.
Anyway…..if any or all of the records are broken (which I seriously doubt) they will be broken under a different set of rules that you cant compare to when the records were set.
There are some great players today, but my caveat is always they are great under today's standards. I try to imagine that player playing in the early 90's. Would they still be great? Some would I am sure, but there would be some players weeded out as well.
Chamberlain has 68 records. Just putting it out there.
Michael Jordan earned all
his accolades ! He is one
of the greatest scorers and
defenders of all time ! In my
book , has rightfully earned
his place as the 2nd greatest
player of all time ! – birdgang ‘
Michael Jordan's accomplishments will forever stand the test of time I don't think any other player on any other team can do what Jordan and the Bulls did in the 90's
Scottie who 😂
Gotta check the top 100 records that lebron will never pass of jordan's . Jordan only earned that money in the last two seasons of his career when he said, " pay me" . His entire career along with magic johnson, didnt take a high salary, got the players they needed. If you look up jordan's salary throughout his career you will see that. He only made the 33m and i think 35 million his last two years.
Jordan is untouchable. leflop lebron will never catchup to jordan. nobody l never catchup to jordan's resume
My biggest issue is the 100% fact that when Jordan was playing with the Wizards.. his coach had 0 faith in him and kept him out alot most games.. I really do think MJ could have scored 50+ and that 1 time he scored 40 is only because MJ gave the Wizards coach an ultimatium by telling him if you have no faith in me then I quit.. and that made the coach panic since he knew MJ was the best player on the team and would be labeled as the coach that made the greatest player ever to quit the game. Then when he actually allowed MJ to play the man scored 40 and the crowd cheered and chanted that MJ still got it when they were feeling like he couldnt anymore. The truth is he always could but the coach was holding him back.
