  1. Just don’t trade Jordan Kyrou, Parayko, Robert Thomas, or Jakub Vrana. I think everyone else is pretty expendable honestly. The Blues need a younger blue line. Nick Leddy, Krugster, and Faulk are all in their thirties with big contracts. Ideally two of them should go but one going would help.

  2. Maybe don't give Krug a NTC/NMC if the team wants trade flexibility. If that team weren't the ones who gave Krug the NTC, then I would understand…

  3. Deangelo was better in Carolina than Philly… no kidding. Pretty sure everyone would be a better player on a non-dumpster fire team.

  4. Carolina needs some physicality but Tony D again? Hard pass, dude. Not the right decision. Like I said in my last comment on the J Staal video a couple days ago, gonna be a very interesting season in Raleigh…

  5. What's always weird to me about this time of year is the RFAs. Why do teams seem to wait until the last minute to sign or qualify their RFAs? Seems like it happens every season. And not just the top tier guys, either. There's always quite a few standard, mundane deals that leave me thinking, "Why did it take this long to reach that agreement?"

  6. Just because Krug and the other players that have NMCs etc, and choose to not waive them, doesn't mean the teams don't have a right to trade the players that don't have NMCs even with experience and build in other areas. What am i saying? I'm saying, sure Mr Krug and other players can play on defense with their NMCs, but playing behind a number of 1st or 2nd yearers, he's going to be extremely busy. Enjoy.

  7. “The guy from the 80’s got traded again!”. 😅😅
Love it! That’s why the names on my jerseys are either a past player or my own.

Thanks for the news (and laugh) today, Shannon. You ROCK!!🤘🏻🤘🏻

  8. If you don't want players to be able to say no to getting moved, don't hand out No Trade Clauses. You gave the player that right, so you can't be mad when they excerise that right. It's in the contract. You signed it. That's it.

  9. I definitely don't want to get some player's name on the back of my jersey and then have to take a seam ripper to it at the trade deadline. If you can't count on Linden not being traded, who can you count on? I still remember going to Canucks home games, when Philly was in town, and you'd see all those Lindros jerseys with the name ripped off, leaving the name as the unfaded portion of the jersey.

  10. STL is apparently a really popular place for NHLers to settle down in and stay post-retirement (e.g. Tkachuks). Maybe a local can explain a bit more?!
Either way, I can't blame a guy at Krug's stage in career/life for wanting to stand his ground

  11. Arizona should just go balls out and spend to the cap and add to put a playoff team on the ice just to stick it to everyone

  12. Understandable that Krug doesn't want to go to a rebuilding team at this point in his career, but man that's gonna be awkward if the Blues can't find a good trade with a team he wants to go to.

  13. I'll never forgive the Blues for giving everyone away after the one cup and signing mediocre replacements at high price tags. Unreal.

  14. Can't really understand why any player would prefer to stay where he is obviously not wanted. Pretty expensive but I'd send his butt to minors and let him rot there.
