Great video Geo. I think we should approach to buy him in January but not sign him on a pre contract agreement. We buy him for less than 10 million in January and potentially Frankfurt may be out of the Champions league by then. This would make it willing to make the move. We most likely will be competitive in the league and also hopefully looking good in the Conference League like last season and may need that boost in January. We get Cornet in the meantime for the now most likely worth 20 million. Good business would be Cornet and KOSTIC for 30 million combined!

Sorry Geo, but I have to disagree with your feelings on us playing a back 4. In a 4, we really need 2 new players. We need a LB of course. Cresswell just wasn't the same after his back injury. He finished last season with only 3 assists. And without Rice covering for him defensively, he is a liability. If we need Fornals at LW and Rice to stay back, just to help Cresswell, then maybe there's a problem. We also need a new 10. Lanzini is solid in the middle of the pitch, but didn't really create much in the box. Fornals can start a fast break, but again, he didn't light it up last year. Vlasic, still haven't seen it. Besides, that still leaves LW where we have questions.

Playing 3 at the back seems to suite Cresswell and Johnson's abilities currently the best. You remove the 10. Cornet would be a excellent option at LWB. That leaves Benrahma, Antonio, or Fornals as options at LW. It also frees up Soucek to get in the box, because there's almost always 3 defenders playing back.

Cornet in place of Masuaku? any time, in a "New York minute". I just don't understand Moyes' insistence with Masu. He is not going to bring anything more than what we have already seen in prior seasons and this pre-season. Not good enough.
