I always rate Ampadu highly and would love to see both Ampadu and Colwill as the centre back pairing for Chelsea. Additionally, Ampadu could also step-up to play on CDM role although his preference would be at centre back but he is not one of the quickest defender and vulnerable when playing a high-line defensive setup.
If this lad was playing for Brighton or Southampton the board and fans would be interested in a 35-50m transfer link… Pathetic how we treat our young prospets.
He just got a hat trick of relegations XD. I mean it wasn't really his fault, but it has to say something about his ability if he isn't able to protect a back line enough at three different teams. He is a solid player, but nothing more, he can not produce anything special. Chelsea should sell him to get pure profit from selling an academy player, then buy a better defensive midfielder for the first team.
