      Not sure why people are even discussing the squads, West Ham got back in pre season 5 days ago, and one of the days have been spent travelling to the States. The Sounders are in the middle of their season, whilst West Ham have been training for what, 3-4 days? People who are shocked over this result need to get their mind straight.

      I like seattle, one of the better MLS teams, but I wouldn't read too much in to this, we played a very very very weakened side first half, and even the second half was experimental and full of new bloods, not to mention it was a friendly so nobody will be playing for it

      West Ham clearly did not have a decent amount of their starters. That being said I still feel they should of won this game. They did have some quality players out there. Also the Sounders did not start a decent amount of their starters either. Then again it's only a preseason game and good luck to West Ham.

      Sounders are not playing well in MLS this season we have talent but they are so disorganized. I doubt we will make it to the playoffs. I want to see Anderson and Morris team up the speed is amazing.

      Was there are rule change because it was a friendly and they got more subs because morris and tyler miller were not starters.

      If the Redbulls 3rd Division team can beat Chelsea in preseason, the Sounders 3rd Division guys should be able to do it against West Ham too. This is no surprise anymore.

      People talking about how West Ham didn't have their starting team… Farfan, Fisher, Ockford, Mathers, Miller, Alfaro etc aren't starters for Seattle so that's a stupid argument to begin with. Good to see Morris continuing to score in all competitions, hopefully Jurgen notices.

      All the discussion about this match just reminds me of CCL. We have to play Mexican sides in the middle of their season while we are still in preseason.

      To everyone who said that the sounder a beat a weak west ham side: the sound era weren't playing their mls starting 11 either! Where was joevin jones, Chad Marshall, Clint Dempsey, Brad Evans, or Erik frigberg? Even though west ham may not have been playing their most stellar lineup, neither were the sounders. There doesn't need to be any excuse for the sounders' victory- they played well and deserved it.

      Am I the only that noticed that West ham did good last year and are pulling a Chelsea and seems to happen after a MLS team beats a prem team
