I thought I had heard that Watson had decent handles and is a good passer/playmaker. Did he have a major growth spurt late in HS as well? Went from guard to forward? I really like Adam’s take a while back about treating Watson as next years 1st round pick. There is a legit chance that he becomes a top 10 player next season in college if he stayed. The more I watch this kid, the more I really like him, he’s gotta real chance to be the perfect fit w this team goin forward. Booth has been very impressive thus far. Go Nuggets. Can’t WAIT!!
It amazes me that folks still question MPJ’s work ethic and passion for ball! The only thing keepin him from bein a top 10-15 player in the league….Davon is and has been my guy since he started getting minutes, I really believe he’s gonna make a jump this season that will allow us to move on from KCP or Brown in 2 seasons. Just a really solid player that understands basketball.
Clear message from Malone that is at the core of why Barton didn’t fit; KNOW and PLAY your ROLE for the TEAM’s success. Last year was so tough to do that because of the injuries. This season it is clear, the TEAM is competing for a Chip, get on board or move on. Love it and 100% agree. Times have changed in Denver. I am all in.
