You know, we brought Latif here because he wanted to go somewhere that would give him not only the chance to play (he was playing in LA) but that would give him the chance to bring his family over from his home country, which the Revolution front office did. Since Latif hold a green card and all he was able to bring his wife and daughter over and the Revolution gave him the time off to bring them here. I had a lot of respect for that decision. Then to turn around and trade him what, two months later? But not just to trade him, but to a CANADIAN team no less. Will he be able to bring his wife and daughter with him to Toronto? If not then that's a pretty shitty move. Sure, Latif has had a pretty poor run of form recently but he also had a pretty good run of form early on so that is not really a reason to ship him off with only half of a season of seeing him now is it? I am just not sure if this was a good move based on many factors but it's done and over so what can we do but hope that MAK steps up and delivers.
