Vader is named after a warrior from japanese folklore. He got the name in njpw in 1987.

Chainsaw Charlie should of been more closer to Leatherface, maybe a long lost brother, but I didn't know the character was named after the W.A.S.P song and The Crimson Idol single. That is pretty damn cool, especially myself being a huge W.A.S.P fan and love the song. Some are definitely very obvious. Every time I think of Vader in the WWF. I almost get pissed because they ruined him basically lol. Great video.

I am from Memphis,Tn and rastlin was huge when I was a kid in the 80s and 90s.( On a side note Sid Vicious spit on me at a live show,lol) Jerry "the king" Lawler was just the latest in a line of Memphis kings starting with B.B King, and Elvis and its between Jerry and Hulk Hogan for my favorite childhood wrestler 👍🏾

I'm not sure what the deal was, but even though I wasn't supposed to watch it, I always attempted to watch it when I could.

Dusty Rhodes might have been named for the baseball player who won a World Series in 1954 with the New York Giants, a few years before their move to San Francisco. Coincidentally, the later Dusty played baseball in college.
The name "Lex Luger", always seemed stupid to me. Larry Pfohl looked nothing like the "Lex Luthor" from DC Comics. The first name Lex was fine, but he should have used a different kayfabe last name.
