      What!?! Why not just let Ewell fight Cody Stamen this week? Stamen has literally been in camp for 4 months and he hasn't been paid

      i got gutierrez. i think the leg kicks will obviously play a role, but something is telling me gutierrez by decision.

      I think i got Gutierrez… calf kicks, higher level of opponents loses or not, Ewell have more sig strikes but both are north of 4 per min but the 2 taken by Gutierrez per minute is a difference. I feel he will outlast him when it goes late

      I like Gutierrez but I can’t lean on him as he’s coming in on seven days notice. Hell, I can’t recall a fighter that wins on short notice. – Your Fellow Donkey

      I could see this fight going similar to the Wood vs Ewell fight, where wood chopped out the legs of Andre and out wrestled him where he eventually got the sub. I think Chris by decision or submission. Or who knows maybe Andre just cracks him with a shovel hook and puts him to sleep.

      Gutierrez by 3rd Round TKO due to leg kicks! He does it again after Ewell takes a beating to the legs in the first two rounds and he can no longer strike effectively.

      I like Ewell because as much as this is a close one I think training for Stamann gives him the edge in a fight like this. Styles make fights but I think Ewell’s training will show via dec.

      I got Ewell on this one. Gutierrez has very solid leg kicks but Ewell is a Southpaw with good footwork. That should make it more difficult for Gutierrez to land those kicks.

      Gutierrez should go after Ewell’s tall thin legs like a lumberjack with his chainsaw on two twigs. If not, Ewell with a possible submission with an 8 inch reach advantage? Gutierrez, whose only submission loss was to Raoni at the end of 2018, has never been knocked out. Decision is hard to call. Maybe Ewell? Just pop a pop and pop some popcorn.

      Well dammit this is a main card fight now. Cant beleive Rivera Munoz was cancelled 😭😭😭😭😭 That was my favorite matchup on this card. Stupid Covid.

      Gutierrez by decision – I agree with the analysis that the leg kicks can shut down Ewell’s power (and I think they will), but don’t think Gutierrez has enough power to take Ewell down by KO. Looking forward to this one

      Both great fighters, I'd have to say the momentum is with Ewell. Gutierrez hurt Grant his last fight out but for some reason didn't have that killer instinct. Ewell has killer instinct and in a weird way has a similar game plan to Grant in his fight against Gutierrez. Come out guns a blazing, win the first round, likely edge out the second round, take off the 3rd round and score a close decision. Gutierrez is very level headed very balanced and is very risk adverse. He fights a safe game and I'm even surprised he took this fight on short notice. If he plays it safe again I don't see him leaving a big enough mark on the judges to win what will likely be either a finish for Ewell or a close decision.

      I think Ewell will be too worried about Gutierrez's leg kicks that it will take him off his game and allow Gutierrez to pick his spots and get the W
