Funny, don't think any one will really know the truth about the krays. My great uncle and grandad called them nobody's. Met people who would of been to young to even really know them claim that they new the firm. Only thing I know for certain, is its pathetic glorifying these people. Yeah they did graft and came up to do well, but was it worth it, no. Should there be movies making them out to be "legends", no. They were 2 blokes who no doubt were hard but also clearly had a few slices short of a full loaf.

Given how protective the twins were of eachother, i doubt Reggie would have ignored the fact that Cornell had given his brother a beating especially when he saw Ron battered and bruised. Right or wrong the Krays had a reputation to uphold and having their rivals 'muscle' drop one of the Krays i doubt it would have been left to Ronnie to sort it out. Rumours would have been all over the Eastend that the Krays weren't invincible and rival criminals would have taken liberties.
