It would have been nice to replicate what Jordan is doing incorrectly. I pretty much understand but would be nice to see you do the before and after adjustment swings…
Great content, as usual. What's is your opinion on rotating the club one way or the other in the take away? I'm seeing lots of conflicting videos on this point 🤔
It doesn't get any natural than this. Superb Shawn clement.
Superb Shaun the backhand sword slash bam😀
Great 👍 lesson. Thanks
Shawn do you consider yourself ambidextrous
Awesome again Shawn. Did you ever play professional events Shawn?
It’s so cool to see people succeed and get better. I wish I could do that. Been playing 15 years worked with pros and endless practice and I’m still a hack. It’s tough to have fun being a hack. Just trying to accept where I am and that I’ll never get to a level of a competent player.
Was Jordan swing like that in 2015-?
All three of you are taller than me!
Sean, forgive me. I always used to avoid your advice. I never found it relevant. How wrong I was. I've recently began to open my ears and listen. Even better I've began to apply what you are teaching to my own game. It's working well for me. My direction has improved massively as has my ball striking. Thank you.
You forgot Malaska. 3:55. Good Video.
Shawn, it’s not a catapult, it’s a trebuchet! Sure hope Jordan figures it out.
How strong is savvy’s grip???
Left knee must break out and "BACK" during the backswing resulting in rolling off the ball of the lead foot. I can not think of a better example of that than Savys backswing. Well maybe Bobby Jones or Johnny Miller. This move also tilts the hips and allows a more desirable swing plane on the backswing and thru impact. It will feel more upright and deliver a much more consistent and powerful feel thru impact. Funny as I type this a commercial came on tv with Spieth swinging in slow motion. His faulty lead knee motion on the backswing is so obvious. Sorry to ramble on here .Holly crap did you nail this analysis Shawn .
Great video and
THANK YINZ
Savannah! You sneezed in your hand!!! We can’t do that anymore. 14 day quarantine for you
I was really enjoying the "Two Amigos" videos, but the "Three Musketeers" are even better!!!!
Take care All and please stay safe & healthy!
I like your finish 12:42 in the swing demo. I never liked the exaggerated forward finish I see in alot of even decent golfers . They look like they'd almost fall forward at finish. It's like they rotate into impact and shut it down post impact, and the upper body lurches forward. Yours is very balanced throughout the finish due to a complete turn. Very nice.
Awesome as usual . Thanks for translating Brandel Chamblee‘s emotional outburst 😎
Great stuff as always Shawn. We in Scotland, like many others are in lockdown at the moment and having more time on my hands I have come up with an acronym based on your swing key points. I seem to remember John Jacobs had G.A.S.P. way back then (Grip, Aim, Stance, Posture). Well here's your one if you want it. F.I.B.R.E. This is a pre swing thought for when the wheels come off in a round and hopefully prevent reverting back to bad habits out of desperation ! Here goes. In your own words you must have a F-lightplan which will require an I-ntermediate point. The B-all position must relate to the flight plan (eg fade or draw, slightly forward or slightly back). You must R-elease in relation to your intermediate point (eg left of, over, or right of) and ultimately you have to E-xecute the action. F.I.B.R.E.
Keep up the great work you do and stay safe 😉
Great video Guys. Being a coffin dodger, I have lost flexibility. I noticed that Savannah raises her lead foot a lot more than I do. Will raising my lead foot a bit higher help to improve the length of my back swing, or, by raising my lead foot higher, does that eliminate the need for a longer back swing as I can generate more rotation in the down swing. Your channel is such a tremendous asset to the golf community and I thank you all for that.

Another great video Shawn. You and George Gankas are on to something.
What was Mushabe's swing speed?
Three Musketeers rock!!!
Thank you all for your efforts to teach us! It’s interesting that as I was watching Savy’s backswing and I thought why dose that look so different? Her hips and shoulders are almost the same at target! Even yours look more than average, but not as much as her, youth how wonderful! so I tried practicing inside, it’s raining, totally different feel, when it stops raining I’ll go out side and hit a few into my net and see if I can get past 105mph, maybe I need more hip rotation in the backswing! thanks the Grate videos!
Why is it a catapult and not a sling?
He is getting to much techincal instead of focusing on task at hand. Main problem which i see is he is into parallax effect. Shawn intermediate point will help him. I request shawn to make new videp on parallax effect in golf and how to get out of it. Thanks
Hey Shawn just a fallow up!! my contact was not good, a little practice will get better but the focusing on a little more back turn or a little more hip to the target got me to 107 so I’ll keep working on it! Thanks bunches it works!!😃
We need a drive off between Savvy and Maria Fassi 😂

Shawn, I'm a right handed golfer, should my left knee turn behind the ball? I'm a little confused. Thank you!
Hello Shawn, when you asked Sav what direction of her target, I noticed the red/orange tee in front of the ball. Can you tell me where that is relating to the ball? looks like 10-20 degrees out ?
if brandel could solve spieth's in two seconds, why is this video so darn long?
I'm sorry but I'm not hearing anything regarding to how staying behind the ball helps….. if anything I feel like this is just a talking point and has no actual facts to back up the claim that this will "help" him out. To many pros getting caught up in fluff and no substance. Maybe wrist bends would have made more sense in Jordan's case…. just a thought.
Hi Shawn great lesson ,thanks!
Hey Shawn! Thanks for the excellent analysis of my left hand (backhand) swing today! Sounds like I had the same problem as Jordan and needed to get my lower body into the swing way more by getting my right heel off the ground, knee back behind the ball, and butt facing the target. Well I went and tried that out on the course this afternoon and more rotation also gave me more time to gather at the top and I knocked a couple of effortless drives out there near 250 yards. Thanks Shawn! I look forward to learning more and getting better and better!
When I came across Shawn's teaching, I was immediately put off. It's so old-school. But having whored around various teachers, I've returned and have a lot to learn. Savannah's backswing resembles Mickey Wright's – one of the best golf swings of all time. This is a great video, power in the golf swing comes from rotation and this is how you get it.
I've never watched 1 of your video's. It was amazing. Anytime we struggle we can always trace it to the fundamentals. Great work explaining this concept of turning the knee in. I could hear the speed increase with the sword drill. Thanks !
who died and made chamblee the golf swing guru. a guy who cant play dead in a western
Aim small miss small. The Little Red Book. Harvey Pennick.
What a great video and fantastic explanation anout Jordan!!
I have been following you for not long, and my golf le improving à lot!! Thanks !!
