I really hope we don’t keep 3 qbs on the roster when the 3rd qb isn’t a rookie or contract guy. Waste of a spot for a guy that you can put on practice squad. Allen won’t get picked up and we could use his spot for another spot
You're right about KJ Wright; we need to make that happen. The Raiders are interested in him, but don't have cap space. Gotta get him before the door closes.
Also, love my VT guys but maybe a trade of Settle for a LB that could start here

I really liked Kyle Lauletta coming out of Richmond and would love if we scooped up KJ.
On the KJ Wright situation Ron Rivera wonts to keep the team with young talent. Instead of old veterans.
We also should trade Qb Huntley from the Ravens and get rid of Kyle Allen.
Why is everybody so pressed to sign KJ Wright? Is he a good linebacker yes but this guy has played exclusively outside linebacker his entire career. Most people want KJ right to replace Jon Bostic. Wouldn’t getting someone like KJ right just push someone like Holcomb or Davis to the bench.
A player that would make more sense would be Jordan Hicks from the Arizona Cardinals because 1. He’s played middle linebacker (a little outside). KJ Wright in his entire NFL career he has played exclusively outside linebacker but more specifically right outside linebacker. It already takes some time for players to learn a new scheme and now he hast to learn a new position even if he’s a veteran. We’ve seen it with Ryan Fitzpatrick it took him a while select decent and practice that’s why I need he was looking better than him at first in mini camp.
2. He’s only 29 years old. So he fits the timeline slightly but he also brings you the veteran leadership Being a six-year going on seven years vet.
3. Has a cap hit of 6 million This year and 9 million next year. As well as only has a dead cap next year of only 3 million if cut.
4. In the most stats he’s either put up better numbers or comparable numbers to KJ Wright.
5. Ron Rivera has us in the past year and a half that he would rather elect to have younger talent 9 times out of 10. KJ is 32 years old and doesn’t fit the timeline.
6.Though Jordan Hicks is not a free agent it is assume around league circles that he is possibly going to get cut due to Cardinals drafting Zaven Collins to be the heir apparent inside linebacker as well as Isaiah Simmons in 2020 draft.. He has also been an open trade discussions and has made it been known he wanted to be traded. So if he isn’t cut tomorrow he can be easily traded for within the next two weeks.
7. He’s adorable he’s had over 100 tackles the past two seasons and started 16 games the past two season.
8. KJ Wright there’s a reason why KJ Wright available is because of the age is a factor but also it is speculated that KJ wants a starting role as well as Good-Very Good payday. The only reason why Jordan Hicks doesn’t want to be on the Cardinals in the man of the trade was because he was told by management that he couldn’t compete for the starting inside linebacker jobs. All Washington fans know if Jordan Hicks came to Washington he would be able to compete for that inside linebacker job as well as win the job. The Cardinals even gave him permission to go look for a trade.
Yo in all honesty, look back at those Kyle Allen games last year. He wasn't amazing, but he at least gave us a chance to win the games he started. He may not be a starter, but put some respect on him as a 3rd string.

DL – Young, Allen, Payne, Ioannaidis, Settle, Sweat, JSW, Casey- 8
PS: Rotimi/Wise/WB-K/Bada/Shaka
LB – Davis, Bostic, Holcomb, Hudson, Mayo, & Norris-6
CB – WJ3, BSJ, Fuller, Moreland, McTyer, Apke, ( even though i believe he should be cut for Danny J.)- 6
Safeties: Kamren, Collins, McCain, Reaves, & Everett – 5, Darrick in PS
ST's – 3- Hopkins, Way and Cheese.

Sign kJ Wright and get Jon Bostic the hell out this team kJ Wright can be the qb of the defense he literally did it last year with Seattle. Also cut Kyle Allen I’d be more confident with Logan Thomas as the 3rd string qb. Logan Thomas had a better throw in the 1 attempt he had than Kyle Allen had his whole life can’t believe we actually gave up a 5th for that dude
Really hoping they cut Cam Sims and replace him with AGG… Cam Sims is still running wrong routes (the friday night practice at FEDEX, leading to an INT), dropping passes, lack of significant plays, and lack of ball security (losing a fumble in the preseason game).
I'm hoping that they cut Apke. To hell with his Special Teams coverage play. He consistently overruns the play and pass the returner. Last game against the Ravens, he got commended for a special teams tackle that he overran and recovered from. But what if the punt returner wasn't slowed down by the coverage behind Apke?
If only we could convince Ron to get his stem cell therapy he could play LB this year for us…
K.J Wright would b a solid pick-up 4 us, but they're saying he wants top linebacker 💰, so unless his demands change we prolly won't go that direction. As far as the qb situation, i disagreed with you & others on trading away tons of capital 2 acquire one, but i definitely don't disagree on qb still being a major need 4 us moving forward. My expectations 4 this upcoming season are low, mainly because of qb. If other teams in the NFC East stay relatively healthy, we will struggle 2 get wins. My prediction barring us getting injury help from other teams is us going 7 & 10, or 8 & 9. And we end up drafting a qb somewhere around top 10 or 15 picks in next yr's draft.

How do we join fantasy?
Cam Newton is available again. Based on the inexperienced backup QB situation and Fritzpatrick’s history and the short window before free agency breaks up the team should the WFT claim Cam ?
From my perspective at the current moment the WFT have 3 career backups at QB with a potential Super Bowl caliber defense and above average offensive skill players. Like the late coach George Allen use to say THE FUTURE IS NOW !! Free Agency ain’t no joke and before you know it the team will dissipate and a golden opportunity missed. I think Cam fits the talent level of this team better at the moment. Plus Rivera and Cam have unfinished Super Bowl business. Losing to the Broncos in the BIG GAME.
