I find it hilarious that Eddie's whole thing with the sponsor money for the 500kg deadlift was to wear their brand, it would go viral and be watched for years to come. Then the brand that went for it died on its arse and now no one's heard of it 😂.

I’d seen a lot of Eddie’s videos but still breaking in to the strongman ‘fan scene’ myself as a fan, he’s brought many guys in to view just through his personality, his gravitas. I’d have never seen a Brian Shaw, then interested in looking back to see the Ronnie Coleman’s of the world, by which I mean the only one 😂

I've never been into lifting weights- mostly cause the doctor told me I had an enlarged aorta as a teen and I was never really allowed to go all out in the gym. But watching Eddie man, its super inspiring- what this guy put himself through to not only be the greatest, but greater.
