HUGE game by Gordon on the glass and another solid all around game. Was hoping without JT AND JB he would get more shots and feel like he was in better flow. I don't get why people want him traded just for the sake of getting a big. When asked why, all they do is slander Theis and Kanter when they've been doing better than expected on the interior defense. Like why? Just wait and see what happens! The buyout market hasn't shown itself yet, Timelord has yet to come back in full health and hey, let's be real here — we weren't very certain that the C's were going for finals contention this year either. So just WAIT. Like just… Why?! Trade Hayward for a big JUST SO your bigger problems get WORSE? I'm talking about the bench production here. You trade him for Drummond and now who runs the offense like he did last night against Orlando? What if Kemba or Brad gets hurt? There's even fewer options then. There's no way to mitigate the current Celtic issues just by "trading Hayward for a big". It's just ridiculous. You don't just give up key depth for a band-aid fix. Reality check, dumb fans: YOU CAN'T ALWAYS HAVE A PERFECT TEAM! Life is like that. So swallow that pill and enjoy the Boston fucking Celtics because this team is extremely fun whether they're fully healthy or not. And Hayward is a part of it.

I'm on record as saying I think we should trade him for Drummond or Turner, but hot damn does that man play beautiful basketball. He's just an old school player that does a little of everything and has the OG basketball fundamentals.
Cut, pass, shoot. That's all it is. I love his game and it'll be hard to see him go, but we'd just be better with an upgraded center.
I can imagine if the Magic were to face us in the playoffs. It seemed like Boston was at home the way the fans were cheering.
