      Fatigue. I'm fed up of hearing this in football. People go and do a days work then go home and train. Club runners for example can run 60+ miles a week and race at weekends. Giving their all which for most has no reward other than doing something they enjoy albeit physically demanding. Wash their own kit, make their own meals and a myriad of other chores. No physios or 1st class travel. How dare you tell us players are fatigued. Why not put them down a mine or in an A&E dept then afterward go and train. You and they might then understand the meaning of fatigue

      England fans who blame stones and the squad don't, humans make mistakes you need to take it on the chin and move on. And I blame Southgate for your lose against the Netherlands due to the fact that stones has played very little this season what a Muppet and where was trent. I hope Giggs has a bigger brain than southgate

      SouthGate you’re shit, you don’t even know Trent is better than walker. Overrated coach. England got lucky they got shit teams in the World Cup.

      Kane proved he is well off match fitness in the CL final less than ONE week before. Hes not match fit. Stones for me has never proved his supposed ability; never seen the attraction and its astounding he's earning what he is for who he is. If I was teaching my 5 year old boy to defend, lesson 1 would be don't fuck around at the back son; take no risks; you don't need to. Stones should KNOW this already. His mistakes shouldbt have been possible. Southgate also messed this up with his selection, for reasons that worry me. I don't accept more Liverpool players were too tired after the CL, and I'm Spurs, but I can see the quality in that side. I think Southy got complacent…

      Southgate looks like he wants to hit the headlines everytime he picks a new squad with 4 or 5 new players , Get a core of players you trust with one or two dropping in or out … You do more chopping and changing than Chelsea do managers that's saying something

      We were cm's from scoring the winning goal. We didn't do bad. The team selection was a surprise to me but if players didn't feel they were 100% fit we can't play them.

      Southgate is a fraud, you’ve got all the tourist England fans saying he’s great when he had the easiest route to a final ever and still lost, anyone who watches football often can see how wrong he got last night… Playing Henderson in that defensive pocket when he’s been prolific going forward lately… it’s like Southgate doesn’t have an idea of his own

      We would have won the game with Harry Winks, he's a deep lying playmaker who is both defensively strong and able to play through the press. Our problem in this game was no one in the midfield wanted to drop deep to receive from the CBs and that forced Maguire to go up into the midfield which left Stones alone on the ball and he suffered under the pressure.

      Tried to be clever not playing the Champions league finalists. The Dutch played their 2 and they both looked fine. It probably give the Dutch a lift. That game was exactly like the Croatia match last year, went a goal up and tried to sit on it.

      Southgate isn’t the manager England need. Never has been Never will be. The players are not & do not play as a team, they are all individuals & play as such. England will never win a major football competition ever. That’s a fact !!

      Those errors were made because in both situations, Stones had no good options forward. The entire midfield is static and doesn't offer any help, yet Stones has been told to try to play it around, which just isn't possible like this. Of course, he'd do better to hoof it, but nonetheless, the tactics from Southgate aren't working…

      Here's the team that would have won that game: Wan-Bissaka, Gomez, Maguire, Chilwell, Winks, Foden, Loftus-Cheek, Rashford, Sterling, Kane.
