From the comments on the BBC yesterday it seemed as if it was a ball and a half out, but this might have been just in, just like that ball from Japan was in vs Spain. By a hair's width. Impossible to tell from this angle, but the linesman is right on the line and peering at it, so it can't have been that clear for sure! Yes, we do see a whole line here, but that is the angle, it could well be that part of the ball was above the line. We suspect it was. But if we got lucky, damn well about time!
Without a byline cam there is no way to tell if the ball did or did not completely cross the line. From this angle it looks like it did but from this kind of perspective that can be very misleading.

Whole ball has to cross the line. Hard to tell from 1 camera angle if that happened. It's certainly mostly over the line, but did all of it?
The ENTIRE ball needs to cross the line which it didn't so it was a brilliant assist and goal. No point crying over it.
