I guarantee without him the Portugal team become a low level team in future..He did his best for his country but Portugal didn't appreciate him..This FIFA world cup his final game they must give him to full of support but unfortunately Portugal management specially Fernando Santos not given chance and even his teammates clearly not given there best support for him to perform his final performance. There are so many inexcusable things that he has done. But perhaps one of his greatest strengths other than scoring was his mentality. He is a natural born winner. And although this attribute should not be confused with leadership, I feel that it has given Portugal the edge when facing other opponents. I have no doubt that Ronaldo has helped inspire his teammates with his attitude. Unfortunately, the only other player i see this quality in is Pepe who will most likely retire soon. With that said, Portugal will no doubt play more fluidly without Ronaldo. But will they be able to find success in the future without that winning mentality?
