Should Africa have more teams at the World Cup in your opinion?
No; because they do rather poorly. Even Egypt – the most successful African team – have only qualified 3 times and has never won a single game at the World Cup.

With a tournament of 32, África had the right amount of teams, sorry but they couldn't get more because their performances were poor, since 1998 when the 32 teams format started, the average teams of AFC that advanced to the knock out stage is 1, how you can ask for more when the results says that you are not good enough, Concacaf with less teams (and lesser talent) had performed better.
I know everyone in comment section gona state that Concacaf should only get 2 spots and not 3 and possibly even 4 if you talking about the elmination draw. Truth is concacaf teams have perfromed better than african and asian teams in the last world cups or at the very least get out of the group. Also it would just be annoying for them to extend it with more teams as you would just have more mediocre matches nobody wants to watch.
switzerland would literally dominate AFCON. They are class or two ahead of strongest african team….
I mean just look at UEFA nation that won't be in Qatar; Italy, Sweden, Turkey, Poland, Austria, Czechia and Ukraine. They are all better then whatever Africa is sending.
I think Europa needs more spots tbh. They are far better and it is very hard to qualify. Italy not being in the world cup, but Equador is just mindblowing

Right so yet again, almost all teams are out of the tournament at round of 16. Senegal losing a 3-0 to england. African teams are still rubbish. Bad coaches, no youth investment, no infrastructure, no real team play.
Even in 2026 world cup they will exclude 25th fifa ranked teams from qualifications and they are almost Europeans ! .. Does it make sense?!
