  1. I’m still conflicted, but desperate move no. You either have a franchise quarterback, or your searching for one. The legal side of this is the unknown.

  2. It was a foolish move by the browns. Think about it. He gave up on his first team because they would not let him hire the new HC or GM or some
    Nonsense like that.

Out if 4 suitors, the Browns were the absolute bottom of his list and were the first ruled out by Watson himself. They got him to consider with the most ridiculous contract in professional sports history. Not only is the contract fully guaranteed, but it protects him in year 1 from league suspension by making his base salary only 1 million and his bonuses over 40
Million so if suspended he loses only 1
    Million at most.

What exactly is Watson’s incentive to play his best for the browns? He has his money pretty much up front. Every penny. He can shut it down now if he wants, ride out the suspension, party the entire time, and show up for 2023 at 300 pounds and completely out of shape and not invested in the browns, the nfl, or football at all.

  3. Nobody says "I'm going to Cleveland for a vacation." People go to New Orleans, Atlanta, and Carolina for vacation. Of course they are going to have to pay people more to go there.

  4. Hey listen Dave you're making all this big time money now a days, why don't you throw your maintenance man a bone or two and tell him to put some WD-40 on your chair I'm tired of watching you listening to your chair screaming through the video.

  5. Desperate times call for desperate measures, I have been a Browns Fan since the 1970s, but the last 20 years have been very tough. The QB position has been impossible to get right, because the Browns always draft the wrong guy. The Browns had the chance to get Deshaun Watson with one of their 2 first-round picks in 2017, but they elected to trade down for more picks instead. I hope that their 230-million-dollar investment pay off, because drafting a QB hasn't worked in the last 20 years.

  6. They were all desparate teams but the Browns were more desparate than the others. None of the other teams tried to match or beat the Browns offer.
