Honestly I applaud Niger freeing themselves from the old government, but if the right thing must be done then the military should transition power back to a new civilian government.
Most African military are corrupt as well and if the Nigerien military must totally distinguish themselves as fighters enforcers of justices then they must transition back slowly to a properly motivated and people oriented civilian government.
