The standard of darts is like snooker ,getting higher and higher. Which makes it even harder for the older established stars to reach the finals . Who would have thought that a Belgian would be the world snooker champion .
So here this Phil Taylor, he is not that tall in height, his darts are at 95% right angles to the board, and his scoring is phenomenal. I still believe that if he had darts which were slimmer in barrel he would hit more 180's, but maybe the ones he uses is best suited.
wonder if taylor planned or trained for his darts to land downward ? or is it something natural to him he just employed into his game ? …..16 titles i dont think across all sports has such a number of titles been won …insane

I stopped watching Darts soon after he left. I didnt plan to do it, but it happend to be. I loved to watch him a lot and to know he is in this league and so on. Since then the special something in this sport is missing for me. But yea… Im pretty sure i get hyped again for it one day. At least the sport, the vibe and the crowd is amazing usually.
