  1. I am a diehard Chicago Bears fan and have been my whole life I just turned 70 three days ago. I’ve got a closet full of Chicago Bears paraphernalia, easily enough that I could dress in licensed garb every day of the week and not wear the same piece twice. So I am a Bears fanatic. I loved Walter Peyton. His abilities were beyond what anyone could even imagine or dream a running back could be. I definitely enjoyed this video, but I feel that there was a bit about the team that was missed. Please don’t forget that a lot of those holes that Walter found were created by either Matt Suey or Roland Harper. We should not forget them, Walter certainly never did…..

  2. I love this video! Thanks for putting this together! He's always been my favorite player. I was 12 years old when he played his last game against the Redskins and I cried like a baby.

  3. my whiteass parents have a literal shrine of walter payton that they light every time the bears play. its a family ritual lmao

  4. People think that O.J. was all that? O.J. was pathetic when compared to Walter Payton. Walter Payton was not only an excellent football player, he was a class act. Walter Payton, unlike O.J., never murdered anyone. I miss Sweetness!

  5. He could outrun you, juke you, stiff arm you in the face, jump over you, give you the studded step and if none of that worked he could lower that shoulder and change your whole day. He was always first up from the pile, with a smile and a “Nice Hit” for his tackler. The man did things I’ve never seen another running back do. He did it all with such style and grace. He really was Sweetness.

  6. Worked at Orlando International Airport in the 80's and the Great Walter Payton came through. He was surrounded by admirers, but he was still all smiles and so nice. I couldn't believe how big he was. I shook his big hand and he said, "Hey, you guys want an autographed picture?" So, he pointed back to a guy who was walking a few feet behind him, and everyone just focused in on that guy. When we looked around again, he was gone. He had it all planned out to make his escape. I can still see that big smile of his…..what a nice guy. RIP, "Sweetness"!!!!

  7. That big step fake @ 12:33🐐!

Chicago was my team for Tecmo Super Bowl! Waltor Payton, Mike Singletary and basically the entire Bears defense…

  8. Growing up in michigan i was die-hard lions. Favorite player walter payton. It was not the same having his brother eddie payton playing for the lions for a short time. 1980 thankgiving day lions lost to the bears in overtime before it started. Even though the lions lost it was the best day of my life. Meeting walter just as he was coming out of the locker room (he was the last one coming out). I was 10 yrs.

  9. The bears 🐻 came to the Superdome to play the Saints, I can't remember what year that was or who won the game but what stood out to me was how soft spoken he was and how nice he was to let me take his picture adjusting his tie and a beautiful smile. Rip sweetness
