I see the point you're trying to make, but you've chosen to compare him with 2 wingers, and a player that played the first half of the season in midfield. Where does he sit compared to other players in his position?
We forgot that Drogba scored only 16 goals in his first season for Chelsea and he ended up as a legend, Jackson will come better when he fully adapt to the demand is EPL.
Who cares. Stats can be very misleading. Jackson is not a striker. He is far better playing in a deeper position and even then, on occasions, he loses control, possession or his pass goes straight to the opposition. We need a striker, not someone pretending to be one. These comparisons are pointless. As one of you Chelsea YouTubers said, is he, Jackson, even a professional player. He's decent playing in a deeper position or coming in from the left, but he isn't a striker. He has missed absolute sitters, and that is a fact. In fairness to him, he has certainly improved but that doesn't make him a striker.

He is someone who we can't rely on as of now. He is raw, he needs time, maybe a loan spell or rotational striker. Once he gets some experience he can be a top player. But one thing is certain we need a proper no. 9
Jackson will get better, his all round play is solid though he did miss a lot of sitters. The inconsistency is expected with young players, he will only get better and his confidence will grow. We need another seasoned striker though, atleast one with a warrior mindset, who can perform and drag the team even when stakes are high. That striker position at CFC comes with a lot of pressure to perform, spotlight, scrutiny and criticism. We definitely need a person with an "I don't care mindset".
I think Jackson can become an elite striker. He offers a lot more to the game than just being a target man. Finishing is something that can be taught and worked on, having that grace with the ball at ur feet is something that is much more rare
The thing is for example he score maybe be 30 goals but what is it use for if we can't strengthen our defence we have been scoring goals in and out but see our goal difference it's a problem 😕
all im saying is he's really not far of picking up 4 in his next 3 easy enough games and hes on 20 goals thats a pretty good season for a young man's first prem season
Did Jackson do well? No. Just a passing grade for me. (considering he is in new league, new team & young age)
As a striker he did score some goals, but most of these came when pressure was off, i.e. Chelsea is already leading.
However, he was excellent with his commitment to work hard, run and chase after the balls.
Next season he needs to show better understanding with his fellow forward players, pass when it is needed to be passed, shoot if he is in good position and try to miss less big chances.
