The footage here (if it is) shows McMahons ‘retribution’ the following year and it’s far more spiteful. McMahon goes in front on, studs forward, which did result in Vinnie needing more than a few stitches. Result, Vinnies on his feet in a second play resumed, referee didn’t have a chance to blow his whistle. Mark Hughes was no softy and his reaction in a later clip on this post says it all
If he plays in modern football, he will sent off every match by the 10th min of play because of VAR. A lot of his plays are red card offence these days.. in his era, they were not even yellow carded..
