Overhyping Canadian players is becoming a big problem in football/soccer media. Believing every report or rumour as fact shows a serious lack of knowledge. These are more dreams than reality. David is a very good second striker and a mediocre main striker. He won’t go to Man U. Tajon will play more as fullback than winger cause that is his skill set. Best case he goes to a team in 10 to 20 position in a top 5 league. Osorio can’t play in a top 10 league let alone a top 5. Not technical enough to play as a 10 and not physical enough to play as a 8. Waterman doesn’t play in the middle of montreals defence but should start in that position for Canada? Stop it.
Richie Laryea (pronounced lah-EE btw) looked good to me. I know he's connected with TFC and Nottingham, but I could see a good transfer happening. It's a pity Adekugbe didn't play more because I think he would have got a good transfer. Also a pity that Crepeau got injured because I could have seen him coming on the second game and getting eyes on him.

Disagree with the "not going to plan" narrative of Canada's WC. What did you think you happen? Get through the group? Beat a legit top 20, top 10, or top 5 team? Tie one of said teams? We had, at best, a punchers chance at even getting a result in any of our matches. A draw in any of those games would have been absolutely massive. Canada scored goals, didn't get embarrassed, and experienced the beautiful game at the absolute top level in an extremely difficult group. Stop pandering the idea that "the plan" was to do more than that. More than that would have been more like the dream than the plan
