Believe me that this wave really deserve a ten point… The wave was huge, thick, powerful, Parko's surf looks really casual and easy to do where it's not.
There was a spit and the camera angle don't show how deep he was.
Cruising in Hossegor isn't easy, it's a hard beachbreak to surf with lots of backwash and a fast, powerful, shallow wave etc…
Just ask Josh Kerr if it's easy to cruise in Hossegor: rd2 heat4 2:90pts wave.
Derp'y youtube commenters who are probably kooks or 5 judges who have all been surfing for 10 years + and know exactly what they are judging.. hmmm , yes that was a perfect 10 get over it.

It's an amazing wave no doubt, but I feel that as usual Parko farts and judges give him the score.
Comparing with other 10's in the event, those other surfers had to "fight" to make all the way, this is just cruise control.
Not bad, not bad…maybe not a 10, but real close! Love the way in which he casually stands in the barrell..

yeah man, no way thats a ten. he wasnt that deep and he wasnt in the tube for long at all.
it was a 10 because it was a the biggest bomb that came through by far, he got fully covered and came out with the spit.
