If England and Wales were relegated to League B, there is a potential British clash against Scotland and Republic of Ireland. Huge shame because all nations were huge favorites to host Euro 2028.
As a person who goes to Wales matches, i'm totally ok with this. There was more chance of us getting relegated than not and that playoff game against Ukraine had an affect on the preparation for this competition. If it was a qualifier for a proper tournament then that would be a different story, but it wasn't, it was just a bunch of semi competitive games in some competition no-one gives a toss about. Just glad we are in a world cup for the first time in 64 years. Even if we get smashed, there will be no complaints from me. Being there is enough.
