This is a terrible ad. I was waiting for the space ships and boobs to be panned in, not that I don't like those things? The shots were so close and pans so curved I got no details accept to rewind and pause. I am asking you, should I have to do that. Even from a cinematic viewpoint I give it a C+, and let's just say I have 25+ years in the industry, would you like to see what CLEO award looks like. I am also an award winning rod maker with lots of retirement money. I am the guy your trying to sell! This should be like a new gun ad, promoting performance, pans that show off improvements in design. Something I can call my buddies up and say, "wow, these things really are great" nay nay, insert chugging beer and a belch, then that boob shot. Seriously, I have worked with video guys like this who are more interested in padding their shot resume than understanding the audience. Does it have superior mountings on the roller shafts (i.e. ball bearings), is the rubber on the rollers improved, height adjustment is height adjustment-I get that isn't really an improvement. The locking mechanism let's face it is store bought off the shelf nuts and bolts. It has bigger wheels, since they aren't used for traction, tell me why it's better. I can say less where and tear, spreads the wear out over the rubber better. Is the rubber improved to damage the rod less? Oh and by the way, why is there only a double lock ring on the bottom and not the top?????????
