I’m honestly fine with Southgate going with 5 defenders.
I’m assuming Southgate will probably be doing a 5-2-3 when we have lost possession but when we have possession we will move to a 3-4-3 making the two extra defenders push up more. We did this against Germany in the last euros and it was effective so I do think we can manage to implement it again against Switzerland.
The best possible starting XI we could do in this format is:
I m not even english and I support them more than entitled england fans who actually want them to lose so they can say I told you so, you think those who publicly bashed southgate want them to win? hell no, they are more concerned about being right, it will be extremely boring for them if england wins, wierd people 😂
