I remember him taking his first big haul in test cricket vs England in Hyderabad when he took 6-44 in England 's first innings on the 1977 tour to Pakistan.
This was Qadir 's second test match. He got one wicket on his test debut in Lahore in the previous test match. Bob Willis was his first test victim. Sadly neither of them are alive anymore, nor is the late Rodney Marsh who was dismissed by Qadir in this video. I liked all of them very much.
Those were the day GOLDEN ERA OF CRICKET it produced so many international legends , watching them playing was a treat …at that time it was a gentlemen's game…now days its just money making …todays cricketers cant stay on geound more then 20 overs
