The team as a whole is struggling on the pitch in the recent month or so and the blame have to be put up to a point ofc at the Tuchel doorsteps… Far from saying get rid of him haha but as a great coach that he truly is the total lack of criticism is not doing him or the club any favors. This is his team and he is fully responsible for the form of the players, the formation and the chosen XI on the pitch. If for example Mendy is showing some problems with his performance after the Afcon why not give him a break and use Kepa? Kovacic on the bench and so on…

To say Chelsea have an aging midfield is complete nonsense. Kante, Jorginho and Kovacic all in their peak age. Chelsea were undone tactically with individual errors.

I don't know why kante is getting heated. I can tell that he is following the coaches orders. He plays very forward leaving space in midfield for counter where he is running back to defend.He is not playing in the way he is dominant. I prefer kante and kovacic. Mendy killed the game. Lukaku had me screaming with that open header miss. We had missed chances but believe we can win second leg. If not, best of luck to Real Madrid, they played well.
It is not best in a coach to continue to leave Romelu on the bench instead of starting. There is need to begin to pair Lukaku with Harvertz. again not leaving the chelsea's wonder boy, Kovacic on the bench. I still haven't seen anything wrong with Lukaku only that Tuchel isn't still able to use him well.
People keep condemning Lukaku, meanwhile it is until he comes in the second half that Harvertz alwas have his way through to score in about 3 to 4 consecutive times it happens. Those games i see Lukaku as always the distraction for the opponent in order for Kai to have his chances. On this note i see it the need for the mananger to begin to start Lukaku/Kai together.

Benzema FORCED mendy for that error and given Rudiger was already on yellow, he was definately hesitant to hit Benzema. You can see the moment Benzema saw Chelsea were playing it to gk and Mendy was way off his spot, He made that predatory moment and closed down Mendy. When Mendy got ball Benzema was way off but he still kept the run and lo and behold he got the ball and scored.

Anyone blaming Mendy is complete nuts. People have bad days, to try to find faults on mendy is absolutely disgusting. Poor game, poor tactics. But Chelsea as a team has been through a lot, the mentality is not the same. Chelsea so far this season has been alright. Next season will be better when everything is calm. Next week magic is not ruled out yet as well.
