  1. I was afraid that the Benjamin Watson play wouldn't be in there. The best chase-down tackle ever. Coming from the other side of the field to run about 94 yards in total is awesome.

  2. A few observations. #1- if Darryl Green is on the field, there will be no long touchdown runs by anyone. #2- the speed of guys like 300 lb. Warren Sapp and 325 lb. Larry Allen, and several other huge men is an illusion, no man that big can run like that. #3- the guys that ran a long way only to show-boat and get caught and/or fumble at the 1-yard line, should be made to wash the team jock straps by hand after the game. #3-generally speaking, defensive backs are the fastest players on the field. #4- we can assume that black players known to be fast but that were caught from behind by white players, probably didn't show up for the next team meeting. #4-the punters that caught guys from behind probably showed up early for the next team meeting. #5- chasing a player down, then reaching around to slap the ball out of his hands, is one hell of a great football play. #6- none of these clips showed Willie Gault (1980's Chicago Bears) being caught from behind. #7-some of these players can run down the average guy like a Ferrari F8 chasing down a 1987 Yugo.

  3. Great highlights, the one issue I have is the horse- collar tackle. This was not a penalty back then, but I always saw it as very dangerous. I'm glad it's a foul today.
