Whats wrong with this channel ? The videos are so messed up , not arranged correctly that i got confused
Perry needs to work on her movement. Otherwise she has no chance to beat the egyptian players consistently.
Perry has such an unsightly way of moving round the court compared to the elegant egyptian players
This Stroke business is becoming a little farcical. Instead of just punishing the clear and obvious loose shot, even pretty tight straight volley drives are being penalised across the board. The ex-pro players in the commentary box are all confused – one says ‘No Let’, one says ‘Let’ and the video ref goes with a Stroke. I understand we don’t want a Let Fest, but it really highlights even the slightest inconsistency from the match ref.
They try and justify the call with some subjective explanation of a particular ‘line’ the player should have taken, leaving people just shrugging their shoulders with no clue what’s going on. The rule doesn’t translate well to the amateur leagues and I think the confusion won’t help promotion of the game. Taking it to the Nth degree, will it change the game to the extent that players stop going straight and hit cross-court more and more to avoid a point against?
Apart from that rant, well done all at SquashTV…content has been excellent as usual!
