Coming from a bills fan this is an amazing pick up for you guys. I was mad when we lost him and it showed last year as out defensive was not as good. Believe it or not but Shaq was a big part of that. Big energy guy who can get you 5-7 sacks a year and even if it doesn’t show all the time through tfl’s is an amazing run stopper. When o first heard that he got traded I was expecting you guys gave up a 3 or maybe a 4 if lucky, but a 6 man that’s a steal.
I still see the jets being number1 on the division because of our pass rush but we will make another trade mid season trust me and it will be for depth on that same position

Great that we plugged the hole left by Carl Lawson's injury. This is great a great pick-up. Great value only giving up a 6th, He can play right away and he's not a past his prime rotational guy and he already has knowledge of the Afc east from his time with the Bills. Great pickup. It's so nice to finally have a competent GM.
Jets Central how many year deal is shaq Lawson on? Just wondering if maybe next yr when Carl lawson comes back (hoping he is still playing at a high level) could shaq be that guy on the other side opposite Carl and then we prob get a FA or draft a guy as well but would we still have shaq even when Carl comes back?
Most 6th Round picks don’t ever start or play. Plus I like the idea of having him play for a year on the team then possibly extend him. When you give big money to guys outside of an established culture, it definitely can’t sit well with guys. I like guys who play with the team then get extended.
His best feature is setting the edge.
Ehh,relax wasn't all that or Flores woulda kept him,he was a decent pick up for the Fins but I dont think he fit their D,I was psyched when my Fins got him last season,but after the first few gms he really flamed out,but in Buffalo he was startin to really look good and their D was definately off last yr,so who knows,if the Jets can get THAT guy in NY he may really make that D a lot better,plus he won't have as much traffic like in Miami,cuz they are loaded,also I'm not sure what D they run in NY but gonna assume a base 4-3 where he can get after the QB more instead of playing more like a Line Backer,like in MIAMI!!not gonna lie tho,hope he sucks for u guys,cuz hes right back in the DIV.

Shaq Lawson is like a middle innings reliever who can work 2 innings if his pitch count is low enough. He has been traded 3 times in a 12 month span. First rounder that has not lived up to his high draft status so he fits right in with the Yets.
