  1. Small point but…(2:34) in 2010, FSG did not pay anything to become total shareholders of the club. John Henry's group was known as NESV (New England Sports Ventures) until March 2011. Then it changed to Fenway Sports Group.

  2. Outstanding presentation! I can only imagine what the 2019 sequel would be like, especially after their next shirt sponsorship deal gets worked out. Under FSG, Liverpool will be the model all clubs not swimming in oil money will look to emulate.

  3. This video was made a few years ago. It's all gone gloriously right for Liverpool. John Henry is a winner.

  4. I know it's hard to stay away from red ink when creating a graphic about Liverpool, but as an accounting man I can't reconcile so much red ink in a positive way!

  5. Wow..Look at what KLOPP has done in 3/4 years he's been at LIVERPOOL FC..The man has totally transformed them from a team that couldn't even qualify for the EUROPA CUP and FINISHED 8TH .And now got them to 2 CONSECUTIVE CL FINAL'S FINALLY WINNING ONE.Without spending multimillions and turning average players into world class players. And that's with losing his best player in COUTINHO..So.Well done klopp you deserve it mate your a top manager and your so lucky to Ave him.Bu damn i wish we had him at MAN UTD and I've got a lot of respect for. But I'm calling this now even though I hope you don't.But KLOPP will win more trophies jwith LIVERPOOL just watch and I'm not even bitter or salty either which I thought I would of.But I can't hate him because hes got hiz team playong beautiful football which is a real joy to watch..GGMU

  6. Hey Liverpool fans, be happy, because Henry spent so much that he told the Red Sox general manager that he didn't want to pay the luxury tax again so that ended our season

  7. Well this probably explains why they couldn't win EPL for last 30 years, team had financial crisis until 2010, then it needed time to achieve level of other top english clubs, and only starting last year we could see them as potential winners. So far, i see that who invest more into clubs, like Chelsea and Manchester(s), gets more power, consequently winning trophies. Pure business, babe

  9. Tifo Football this video is great… is it possible to do one as at 2020 maybe pretty season ending and then later post season ending, to show how much a league win adds to revenue, profitability and performance etc. Thanks!

  10. Christ we were so lucky to get rid of Hicks and Gillett, we could of easily ended up in the same position as United which due to our 30 years of obscurity in respect to being trophy contenders could of been catastrophic! I wasn't thrilled to discover we were being sold to another group of Americans after Hicks and Gillett as I would rather the fans owned the club but to be fair to FSG they have kept their promises for the most part and now we are reaping the benefits on and off the pitch while also looking like we have plans in place to secure our future. I just hope we are never sold to some middle eastern billionaire financed by blood money and being linked to some of the most horrific human rights abuses in the world! That for me would be the tipping point and as much as it wold pain me I would have to stop supporting Liverpool and ultimately stop watching football despite being a born and bred Scouser and life long LFC supporter.
