Luton got overrun in midfield when JM played, he can pass a moving ball well with penetration , but needs strong players around him imo! Hence more games for Wales than LT
Having seen him at the euros this is the deal I was so excited for, he is a quality player and now we're only 2 or 3 players away from a full squad looking good for the season
Improved under Michael Appleton, has great energy and loved by the Lincoln fans for his determination, have followed him through his Wales journey, great acquisition. Absolutely sure he will be a fans favourite.
We've actually signed some decent players. Jackett couldn't achieve promotion with the likes of Chaplin, Clarke and Lowe in the squad. This squad is probably about the same level but with a better manager but in a much tougher league now. Still we might possibly threaten promotion. Should have enough to avoid relegation at least.
Last played for Luton in the first half against Sheffield Wednesday, we were lucky to be losing 2-0. Hooked at Half time, won the game 3-2. Never played again. Watched him closely in the Euro’s, JM can play a pass, what he can’t do is close players down , without the ball, he is a passenger. Nathan Jones insists on work rate, especially without the ball, this is not JM. Small and lightweight, not Championship I’m afraid, Bristol City let him go, now LTFC have let him go, there’s a pattern forming.
