We did well to create chance and to defend with Woodman saves despite of the defeat! No clean sheet for you Man City regular starters.. Off to the weekend 😀🙂.
As I saw the game we should have won 6-3 … NEW STRIKERS ASAP … maybe we could loan Håland? He looks a tad lost at Dortmund !!!!

Solid performance overall against a great team. First goal was poor defensively, and that hurts given how good we've been all season. Second should have seen Woodman close down Sterling even though it's probably still a goal, it'd be nice to not have it be THAT easy. Third was against a team high on confidence and letting their skills show – Jesus fantastic touch and swivel for the easy finish.
Nice first touch, swivel, and shot for Whittaker's first goal too. Decent build up but the Man City defence looked like they were coasting at that point. Would have been interesting if that'd made it 2-1 for sure, or just having Bennett and Bidwell at the back with Ayew up top. Not our best XI but a credible performance and some nice run outs for our new trio who all seem to have a lot to offer.
Back to the Championship and now our real work starts again. Grind and graft our way to a top 2 finish, and back to the Premier League next season! COYS, Jack Army!

Seemed to me that Man City really forced the Swan midfielders into error after error when they tried to advance the ball to the front. They are really good.
Why did Lowe press Rodri and ignore Walker for their 1st goal. Poor coaching 101 that is.
