Baseball is supposed to be a fun game,played by grown men.Grown men should be allowed look the way they want to appear.The Yankees still have restrictions on long hair and beards.Quite certain they’re the ONLY team in all of professional sports that have this.Why ownership does this is beyond me.This franchise no longer has a mystique.Last WS title was 2009.Lately,if they even qualify,they’re gone after the Wild card or Divisional round.Every other MLB team has their own distinct look,and the players seem to be full of enthusiasm and happy dugout vibes. The Yankees are stale and stoic,and it’s starting to show on the field. And on their faces. Hank S. and Cashman need to loosen the reins.Maybe putting on the pinstripes would be a more enjoyable experience.They’re like a Dark Ages franchise,and they’ve been playing like one for awhile now.
The canadiens had surpassed them in 93…the yanks were not going to let that stand for long…the strikeout year in 94 hurt otherwise they get to 23 a year prior and 24 earlier
I liked the national anthem intro before the game also I did go for the braves on this series and Yankees I want that sure yes I was braves but congratulations Yankees you both had a great yr and it was a series not with scores of the first 2 games and for u to turn it around the next 4 u did a great job u did well sometimes it goes that way or u overconfident but great manager calls also help and of course it takes a team effort to get it done and they did congratulations.
Something just feels,different about this year's team. Everything is there to win #28. If Boone doesn't make any Booneheaded calls, the Yankees could do this. 15 years is long enough.
7:48 Is the perfect microcosm of why the Braves only won one championship in the 90's. Bobby Cox made some of the most bone headed decisions. The aforementioned Game 5 choice was exhibit a. Lemke was a .300+ postseason hitter. With two on (one in scoring position) & nobody out, why in the world is bunting even a consideration? Baseball- wise, that is just a low iq decision.
