  1. He didn’t dent anything. Just had a bad game. Is he not allowed to have a bad game? How quickly we forget how great he’s been in other matches for us. He’ll be on the plane to Qatar.

  2. I thought Mckennie was worse tbh. Him starting for us in the WC shouldn't be guaranteed especially if he continues to be in poor form heading into the WC

  3. I hate to be repetitive… the US team as a whole looked inexperienced. Lacked an idea or system that seemed to be getting consolidated till now.

  4. Japan have been good since the 2002 World Cup. How do people not know this? They play 1-2 touch soccer, and they pass and move. The U.S. could do that, but the idiots called Sebastian Lletget a backpasser, plus any other people who play the right way get passed up. If you want some better passing put a balance of attacking and defensive midfielders, instead of 3 defensive midfielders. Luca De La Torre can’t even shoot the ball.

  5. What BS ! So if any American gets more than 3 ppl challenge them during play they are being bullied ! He needs to dry his eyes princess!

  6. How can you say he disappointed when the center backs kept giving the ball to LDT with like 3 guys around him. It started with the center backs.

  7. look at japan squad, they’re all starters for champions league and europa league. endo is what the us thought tyler adams was, the best ball winner in bundesliga. talent wise players for players japan is superior. brazil only beat them with a penalty previous match. give them the respect.

  8. Knew that if Gregg forced his non-ball playing CBs, that the media would find a way to blame the midfield who have to play 3 positions to cover up their liabilities

  9. The midfielders were to afraid to pass it back to the center backs because lack of talent back there. So they tried to make somthing happen

  10. De La Torre is a fantastic player, he has performed well, I’m sure it was just a bad game, but from what I hear the entire team had a bad game except for Matt Turner

  11. LDT fans got really carried away this summer. I heard people saying he’s our best midfielder and should be ahead of Musah. I like the guy but he’s not a starting caliber player. He should be a guy who come in at the 78th minute

  12. Frankly I thought the entire team played poorly, and most of that I lay at Berhalter's feet. How can you play a team, KNOWING their tactics, and NOT have a tactical counter-plan and a back-up to that plan??!!!! How can you play Tyler without a slick, smooth passer next to him as a compliment to his skill set?? He is NOT a "Regista" FFS! How can you NOT play Sargent, who is the most well-rounded, tactically sound striker?? Berhalter MUST Be fired, but it is unfortunate that it will require a poor World Cup to do so. Horrible. The US could have hired SOOO many other great coaches with tons of experience, and they hired Berhalter. inexperienced.

  13. Well despite lacking match sharpness Luca did well on his passing Japan did well tactically but its just I was expecting Gregg to be insecure on his lineup now kudos to Japan to be punched on his face if Gregg didn't changed the scenery USMNT out of the group stage USA can keep up with Japan but again the coach of Japan tactically outcoached Gregg because Gregg this game is thinking too much defensively

  14. He doesn't play, & he plays for Celta Vigo, a nothing team in La Liga's heirarchy, his poor performance against a Japan team that is better than us didn't surprise me.

  15. Honesty I don’t know why Americans are hyping up these players? They going to get spanked by England and wales and even Iran have good players as well so I won’t be surprised if USA loses all three of their games
