  1. Is a red card to the SA player not only did he pull his jersey he kept trapping his foot that actually made the Ghanaian player fall. Go watch Sahara football channel on YouTube, n u will even know he should have been shown a red card.

Ask why he didn't protest and besides the referee was so close.

  2. That is never a penalty. Even former professional referees disagree. Complete act from that player. When you are being pulled from behind how do you then fall like that. Armartey had a chance to take a shot but decided to bring into this mess

  3. It funny how you people don't see him pushing a player Infront of him before the whole incident too place.
The ref was waiting for anything small to call a penalty and if we all watched the whole game we could agree that's he was poor and maybe received a brown envelope before the match.
    Let's wait for FIFA judgement.

  4. I knew the S.A player was guilty immediately his hands went up in innocence..
If you have ever played football you would know footballers only do such when they are guilty of an act

  5. How many goals did SA score in the match? -zero How many goals did they score and was disallowed? – zero How many fouls in their favour was ignored by the referee? – Zero Did they play any exceptional game to support the claims that they have been robbed? – nope! I REST MY CASE

  6. Thls game has brought people who has nothing to do with soccer to come and comment on soccer. if you watch European league matches the player will even be given a red card for what he did. It is a clear on the ball incident. even if you hold a player that is not near the ball in the box it is a penalty and a yellow card how much more this one that he has the control of the ball and can score.

  7. Tell me what you can see cause I’m just seeing blurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr even at 1080p I’m still seeing blurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr where’s the ball? Where’s the players? They mixed into the grass and you say it’s evident 😂🤣😂 pathetic

  8. @Doe Mawuli  The problem wasn't only the penalty. The penalty was only the last straw in a match were 90% wrongful decisions were made against SA. Complete bias from beginning. When our goalkeeper was warned from before match started about time wasting, but not the other keeper? his is great news that SAFA has lodged a dispute about ridiculously poor officiating and the ridiculous"penalty"!! That player dived and should have been given a red card!! Unbelievable officiating!!. It's also not just about the penalty. The penalty debacle is only 1 % of the unbelievably shocking decisions against South Africa. Apart from that there were over 90 % glaringly wrongful decisions against South Africa. Also of the 90% wrongful decisions against SA, almost 80% of them went against SA in the first half before the penalty? Seems once the goal was achieved, the referee suddenly got decisions right out of the blue, but returned to wrongful decisions against SA in last 15 minutes when SA was pushing hard for an equalizer? See this This is great news that SAFA has lodged a dispute about ridiculously poor officiating and the ridiculous"penalty"!! That player dived and should have been given a red card!! Unbelievable officiating!! See this https://youtu.be/R2-Qan3trTo

  9. What is crazy is that once that person fall down the whole Ghanaian crowd, scream penaltyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, before the referee decision lol aiiii🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤞

  10. SAs have to understand that controversy is part of the Game. These things are bound to happen if it's not your day. They should understand Ghana is a great football nation as well and SA is not our match

  11. Football is played in West Africa and North Africa so SA should understand their quality is way behind us. Even our u20 team can handle as we used our u20 team to get to AFCON Angola final 2010

  12. The fact of the matter is he dived and that's cheating (simulation) and it's a bookable offence.
If you look closely on the action before the ball reached the point, you will see 2 or 3 fouls committed by Ghanaian players and the action and behavior of the referee was not his target. He was just waiting for that fall as if everything was rehearsed, the referees action and his full attention on that particular moment says it at. His aim was to wait for a perfect moment and blow his whistle

  13. you are to total exhibition of a true home boy(SA)' ignorance. The fact that our team is called the boys does not mean we should all behave as such. In case you want to open your mouth be kind to us that no flies follows the steam of your words. Ghana people must study how we hosted their game between Ethiopia. Bais CAF, in the shadow of incompetent SAFA, wanted to bully Ghana. SAFA paid Ethiopia not to loss in that game. We all know it and we were all happy we accepted to host that game because corrupt CAF threatened us they will make Ghana host that game if we do not. Since Ghana did so well by not lossing that match. In top of it, we could not bribe the referee in their match. We knew how our Chance had narrowed. Is it not obvious we Started complianing about everything before the game? They were matured than we do. They kept immotions out. Our players should have gotten 2 RED cards but the poor refereeing favoured us. Go ti sleep. We cannot be the mafia of Afican football. Mkozuleele

  14. A competent ref wil stop play when there is too much pushing going on inside the box and warn the guilty players of their indiscretions. From the incident three pairs of players were jostling for position inside the box even Amartey himself he was pushing and holding the player in front of him who ended up not clearing the ball. Its up to the ref to clarify why that foul and not the other before that, then his explanation will give the reason why he made the decision. Its as simple as that even if VAR was available they will go through the same sequence of events that led to the penalty then decide whether to give or deny Ghana a penalty.l don't know all this talk about match fixing is coming from it diverts attention from the real issues and does not add to the improvement of football on the continent.

  15. According to Ghanaians their opponents should play non contact soccer. They are the only players that should be allowed to touch opponents in the field. Unfortunately soccer is a contact sport and that is why we are protesting. Amartey would have done well at the Olympics swimming pool. His dive was perfect for a pool

  16. What a misjudgement from the ref. Is he trying to say he didn't see the Ghanaian player pushing Xulu down? Lord help this 😈 devil exit our football

I'm sure Ghana officials are hunting him down in Senegal to save the embarrassment.
And it's like, the more Ghana fans see this, the more some of them who run away from the truth get blind🤞🤷
