  1. Good pm Gentlemen. We are a good team not to lie. Defence was beginning to show some frailties at end of last season and moyes dealt with that now. Zouma is gonna make Chelsea regret selling him. Vlasic is good competition for our attcking unit, anf Jlingz comes back i would be good with that but i much prefer laborde to come in. Thats my opinion. Moyes is doing good things at WHU. Lets enjoy our football team. COYI

  2. Don't you think half the problem with us finding a striker is, the fact that Antonio has carried his last season form into this season. Any striker coming in will be playing second fiddle to him. So the attraction of being a striking saviour is now a plan b striker which ain't as appealing as being the west ham number one and Cup striker.

    Great video Gonzo 👍 COYI

  3. If we manage to buy Vlasic and get Lingard, with Zouma already signed then I think that would be a great transfer window, and I don't think Moyes will need a striker he will play with a false 9? 😉

  4. Totally agree with you Gonzo. I am not interested in 'strikers'. I want goal scorers, and as far as I can see we have several in the squad and the current signing(s) can only increase that number. Bowen is more than adequate to fill much of the role left should Antonio be injured. I think we should be proud of the fact that we have not been one of the many clubs throwing money at anyone that moves and áppear' to have handled this transfer window with a great deal of care and control.

  5. Totally agree with everything you've said. With the amount of nonsense coming out of fan outlets, this is a breath of fresh air

  6. It seems Moyes does have the magical touch locating players in more profitable positions. given that it is not working well for Diop at the back, perhaps there is this new centre forward waiting in the wings. Given what happened last year nothing would surprise me. After all he is big, fast and can head a ball. Sort out the clumsy bit and we are home and dry !

  7. Hi Gonzo. Areola, Zouma, Vlasic and Lingard would be an unbelievable window for West Ham. I can see Lingard being played further forward should Antonio get injured. Let’s see what happens today and tomorrow. COYI ⚒

  8. Vlasic looks the real deal. Lingard would be a nice bonus, but he doesn´t seem to be that keen. West Ham will regret not buying Abrahams.

  9. Antonio, Lukaku and Traore, now that would be a forward line – for Rugby league! I´m sure they could even handle anything Sean Dyche can muster.

  10. Cant find a striker ?? Plenty în the championship who have huge potențial. Being available at bargain prices ! Who we can sell on în the future for a profit.
He just needs to look în the right Places.

  11. We don’t have the depth of Man City so let’s not get carried away with the False 9 idea.

If Vlasic is loan to buy great, excellent bit of business but I’d rather see us go in for an actual striker, Toney would be my choice right now.

Still think that central midfield has no freaking cover either. Rice and Soucek are going to get knackered, we need them playing 70 mins at most from time to time and certainly not in the initial cup games.

That’s why a loan for someone like Gallagher would have made so much sense.

  12. Its all ifs and buts right now but I do agree that if total sum of our summer window business us Zuma, Lingeard, Areola plus A. N. Other but no striker, then yes the squad has improved and yes, Moyes has earnt our trust. That said, we have a terrible injury record, so when that kicks in, we're looking down the barrel of unfulfilled potential in league position and contention for silverware, which rightfully the blame will lie on GSB imho.
At the end of this season, if Moyes has held out for his choice striker and the cost is league position then, so long as its not a relegation battle, I'll be okay with that, so long as that sacrifice leads to a much improved, balanced and rounded squad going into 22/23 season.
Developing a world beating squad cannot happen in one or two windows, even with all the money in the world. Its encouraging that Moyes seems to be hard headed and will not compromise his plans and while we're winning he'll get our backing, but when the inevitale dips happen, I truly hope us fans can hold our nerve and keep believing.

  13. Laughed at "Your dossier" with the Dembeles, Pringles etc though you won't fool me with tales: it's a diversion from your metamorphosis into The Silver Fox like the original ie. Roberto Bettega.
Nice informative amusement Gonz and EUFA certainly lack ANYONE who has the necessary knowledge of "potato-based snacks."
Thanks again and hope the pinball site has enough subs.

  14. I was hoping for Hlozek and Sima. Brighton have signed Sima for 7mil so that is a bid loss and will be worth double in a year

  15. Yo Gonz! It's been a minute, but I just wanted to check in, where I can't really add anything to the (Mostly) astute and coherent points made, other than we've done some solid business, and the simple answer to "why" is we need numbers to cover all the comps we are involved in, and all our best players are going to be on international duty, therefore, we shouldn't let anyone go, and try to get Lingard in, and maybe a loan at LB, at which point, we should have enough depth to compete. I cant help but be pretty excited, keeping in mind it is West Ham, but you just said it, that you trust Moyes, which I have done since his first stint at West Ham. COYI!!!

  16. One of the best teams I’ve seen was Man Utd when they played that fluid style with Rooney, Ronaldo and Tevez. They would just flood the other side and overwhelm with their fluid movement.

No doubt Moyes has the same idea in mind.

  17. A bit of Moneyball system. Slavia used to play like that. To distribute the highest amount of goals possible through as many players as possible. If Moyes manages to build a team where the goals are equally distributed among many players with the total exceeding a system with one or two strikers then West Ham are gonna be a real beast…
