Al Davis was a pretty complicated figure in the NFL but I will say this. He did help bring the NFL on be coming the biggest sports franchise not only in America, But the world today.
It’s sad to see what the raiders are and looked at as today. When you talk to fans who have been around since 1960-1990 it’s truly a different conversation. I love talking to older fans. You can hear the pride and the greatness the raiders brought to the sport.
As a native Oaklander who came of age in the seventies, the Raiders….A's and even the warriors embided the fighter attitude today… to challenge..persuade and simply fight and dogg out the establisment.
