Haha at least they have a player from their own country to cheer on. Your average Wolves fan never sees an English player. They're effectively a foreign club at this point.
I get why a lot of fans are upset with the performance and results of this team, but I don't see how much better the Wolves would be without both Hee-chan and the Korean fans.
Would you prefer it to be more of a ghost town instead? Or filled with hostile raging fans? Would you prefer to have even less attention than you already have as a club? Because that's what would happen if you didn't have the "fake fans", "plastic fans", whatever you want to call them, etc. trying to stay positive despite the club's current state.
Fans are fans regardless of the reason for it. EVEN IF they specifically want a single player to have success, that would still be a benefit overall because it would mean that they want the ENTIRE team to win. If one wins, all wins.
See how that works? Regardless of whether someone is a "true fan" or not, there's no point in trying to gatekeep if you're ALL rooting for the SAME SIDE to win.
The anger and frustration is understandable, but Hee-chan HAS been a contributor of the few successes that the wolves have had, and he's still trying despite not being in the best of form.
Many people may not care for videos or content like this, especially when Wolves face potential relegation, but because of Hee-chan and the foreign fans (more specifically) at least there is SOME positivity coming from the club instead of constant doom & gloom and hatred.
Regardless of how you feel about Hee-chan's performance, the wolves would have been capable of reaching relegation all on their own without him. Honestly, they would have probably done worse. If you're going to support your team, then do so… but be more reasonable when it comes to directing your hate.
