He was better as a center back but he can do a decent job at LWB. He is better at defending one on one than Alonso but still looks uncomfortable going forward but with time he will improve! I think Cahills place is most at risk.
Great play AKE….loved his play through out, probably the only player I watched 90+mins, great talent there and a perfect replacement for Luiz, Cahil and Alonso on the left wing bck role. go you Chelsea, go you Blues.
he is better than Alonso going forwards and is better than Alonso going back, however Alonso has experience, and the ability to cross in balls as well….I think Ake is fighting Alonso for that position. Kendey, we need to see more of him, I think he can also play the lwb or even rwb…. Not sure why he did not start for Watford.
