Only backward and sideways passes. he is a mediocre player! I dont see anything special about him.

Salis will really improve his game if he passes the ball a lot forward. He is obviously highly technical but the back and side way passing is a big minus. He has everything to be a top-notch midfielder (Partey level or near Partey level).
No ball progression. Meaning you will need an extra midfielder to be dynamic and versatile if you play a player like him in the midfield. At least players like Mikel although were not goal bound type of players they move the ball in the opponents half. He plays ball with no progression. I am not sure if it’s a coach instruction but he is not dynamic at all
